Amy Collection - Diamond Weights & Sizes Available

The Amy collection consists of 2 different variations with regards to total diamond weight.

1.50ct ( 6.1 mm wide ) and 2.00ct ( 7.1 mm wide ). The total diamond weight is distributed around the circumference of the ring, which is why the higher the diamond weight, the larger the width.

With 12 different options to choose from we are confident that there is an Amy Eternity Ring to suit all tastes and budgets.!

Amy Collection - Diamond Qualities Available

The Amy Eternity Ring collection contains 2 different diamond qualities which are classed as H/Si and G/Vs. Both of these grades are extremely high and represent a very high quality diamond compared to what you would usually find along the High Street. The 2 charts below give a good indication as to exactly where H/Si and G/Vs graded diamonds come up on the scale.

The Diamond Colour

Diamonds are colour graded on an alphabetical scale that ranges from the letter “D” (colourless) all the way to “Z”. The variances between the grades on the scale are minimal but make a big difference to the price of the diamond.

Grade D is the highest and is absolutely colourless and very rare so you can expect to pay high prices for a diamond of this colour. As you can see, the further down the scale you go the higher the tint of yellow can be found. Acting as a prism, a diamond divides light into a spectrum of colours and reflects this light as colourful flashes called fire.

Just as when looking through coloured glass, colour in a diamond will act as a filter, and will diminish the spectrum of colour emitted. The less colour in a diamond, the more colourful the fire, and the better the colour grade.

The Diamond Clarity

Diamonds that are absolutely clear are the most sought-after and therefore the most expensive. But many diamonds have inclusions such as trace minerals, scratches or other tiny characteristics that can detract from the pure beauty of the diamond.

Diamond clarity is measured from flawless to heavily included on a scale established by the Gemological Institute of America.

SI or VS clarity graded diamonds are extremely good value for money and coupled with a colour grade of H or G in colour represents a magnificent combination that is fully appreciated in the collection of Amy Eternity Rings.

Amy Collection - Things to consider before buying an Eternity ring

The wonderful Amy Eternity Rings are specifically crafted to our customers requirements and take approximately 3 weeks to supply. Due to the rings being made to order this allows us to keep the prices low and supply a ring that fits perfectly.!

Due to the characteristics of the way full eternity rings are crafted it is very important that the size ordered is 100% correct as there is hardly any room at all for any adjustments after the ring has been made.

The best way to confirm this is to get your finger sized locally and maybe by more than one establishment to make sure of the ring size required, or alternatively order our free ringsizer tool to determine the size you need.

We recommend to purchase the very best ring your budget can allow for as a full eternity ring is really something you will most probably only ever buy once.!
