ELLIE Collection - Diamond Weights & Sizes Available
There are 3 different variations of total diamond weight offered in the Ellie Eternity Ring collection. They are 0.50ct (2.7mm wide), 1.00ct (3.4mm wide) and 2.00ct (4.8mm wide).
With 18 wonderful options to choose from we are confident that there is an Ellie Eternity Ring to suit all budgets.
ELLIE Collection - Diamond Qualities Available
For the Ellie Eternity Ring collection we use just two different diamond qualities, H/Si or G/Vs.
Both of these diamond grades are extremely high and much better than you would usually find along the high street. Sadly, some diamond jewellers can't or will not even tell you about the diamond colour or clarity, which we feel is very important and see this as our responsibility to inform our customers of exactly what we are selling.
H/Si Quality - Colour H and Clarity Si
H colour - This is a near colourless white diamond that has no visible colour tint to the naked eye. Only when this particular grade of diamond is compared to much higher qualities side by side are any differences noticeable.
Si clarity - This stands for small or slight inclusions and means that inclusions could be visible under 10X magnification. With diamonds that are less than 0.50ct in weight this becomes even more difficult to notice and only when examined by a professional with a jewellers loupe can inclusions be detected.
Conclusion - H/Si diamonds are our usual recommendation and with no visible inclusions and near colourless appearance that represents excellent value for money.
G/Vs Quality - Colour G and Clarity Vs
G colour - This is an essentially colourless diamond and only an expert in a gemological Laboratory would be able to distinguish any colour tint whatsoever.
Vs clarity - This is an abbreviation for very slight or very small inclusions and any small imperfections in the diamond can only be located by a professional in a gemological Laboratory.
Conclusion - G/Vs diamonds are beautiful and are basically a step up from H/Si quality diamonds. If you like the finer things in life then this would be the appropriate choice for you.
