Emily Collection - Diamond Qualities Available
The Emily Eternity Ring collection offers both H/Si and G/Vs diamond grades. Both of these grades are impressive and represent an extremely high quality compared to what most retail outlets have on offer. The charts below give a good indication as to exactly what a colour H or a colour G diamond represents and also what the differences are with regards to Si or Vs clarity.
The Diamond Colour
Diamonds are colour graded on an alphabetical scale that ranges from the letter “D” (colourless) all the way to “Z”. The variances between the grades on the scale are minimal but make a big difference to the price of the diamond.
A colour H diamond is near colourless and has no visible colour tint to the naked eye. This would have to be compared to a higher colour grade side by side for any difference to be noticed.
A colour G diamond is one step higher up the scale and is essentially a colourless diamond. Only a professional in a gemological laboratory would be able to distinguish any colour.

The Diamond Clarity
Diamonds are priced accordingly due to them being so rare. When certain diamonds are examined you may see something that looks like mini white feathers or flecks of dirt. These are actually natural fractures in the diamond structure or minerals that get trapped inside as the diamond has been forming over millions of years. These factors are classed as inclusions and inevitably the cleaner the inside of the diamond looks the rarer this is and so you can expect to pay higher prices accordingly.
An Si clarity grade diamond is an indication of slight inclusions although as shown in the chart below these inclusions are not visible to the naked eye and represent a very good diamond value.
A Vs clarity grade diamond indicates very slight inclusions and can really only be identified within the diamond with expert knowledge under magnification. An excellent quality diamond and hence the increase in price at this level.
