katie Collection - Diamond Weights & Sizes Available
The Baguette and round cut Diamonds used within the Katie Eternity Rings come in two different weights, 1.00ct where the actual ring width comes in at 4.8mm and 2.00ct where the width of these rings comes to 6.0mm wide. The ct of the diamond weight refers to the total weight of the diamonds set around the rings.

KATIE Collection - Diamond Qualities Available
Both H/Si and G/Vs diamond grades are offered within the Katie Eternity Ring collection. These are both very high up the diamond grading scale and represent an extremely high quality compared to what most retail outlets have on offer.The charts below should give you a good indication as to exactly what you can expect with a colour H or a colour G diamond and also what the variances are between Si or Vs clarity diamonds.
The Diamond Colour
An alphabetical scale is used for diamond grading and this ranges from the letter “D” which represents a colourless diamond, all the way to the letter “Z” which is a diamond that has a high colour tint and can be classed as a fancy coloured diamond. The colourless diamonds are generally the most sought after as they are rare and the value of such diamonds is reflected on the price you can expect to pay.
A colour H diamond has no visible colour tint to the naked eye and is classed as near colourless. Only when compared to a higher colour grade side by side can any differences be noticed.
A colour G diamond is higher up the scale and is an even more near colourless diamond. This falls in to the group of diamonds that only when a professional in a gemological laboratory studies the diamond would any colour be detected.
The Diamond Clarity
When certain diamonds are examined mini white feathers or flecks of dirt might be found inside the diamond.These inclusions indicate natural fractures in the diamond structure or minerals that get trapped inside as the diamond has been in the process of forming over millions of years. Inevitably, the cleaner the inside of the diamond looks the rarer this is and so higher prices are paid.
An Si clarity grade diamond is an indication of slight inclusions. With individual diamonds of less than 0.50 carat in weight any imperfections the diamond has are not noticeable without a jewellers loupe. This represents a very good diamond value.
