Lucy Collection - Diamond Weights & Sizes Available
The round Diamonds used within the Lucy Eternity Ring collection come in two different total diamond weights, 1.00ct and 2.00ct. The 1ct rings are 4.3mm wide and the larger 2ct rings are 5.2mm wide.
The diamond weight, i.e 1.00ct or 2.00ct refers to the total combined weight of all the diamonds set around the rings.
Lucy Collection - Diamond Qualities Available
The Lucy Eternity Ring collection consists of just two different diamond qualities, H/Si or G/Vs.
These diamond grades are extremely high and both of these qualities offer a stunning appearance and very good value for money.
H/Si Quality - Colour H and Clarity Si
H colour - A white diamond that is near colourless and has no visible colour tint to the naked eye. Any differences are only noticeable when this particular grade of diamond is compared to much higher qualities side by side.
Si clarity - Abbreviation meaning small or slight inclusions. Only under 10X magnification can any inclusions be identified. With diamonds that are less than 0.50ct in weight this becomes even more difficult to notice and only when examined by a professional with a jewellers loupe can inclusions be detected.
Conclusion - H/Si diamonds are our usual recommendation, no visible inclusions and near colourless appearance, you can't go wrong.!
G/Vs Quality - Colour G and Clarity Vs
G colour - A brilliant white diamond. Expert knowledge would be needed to notice any colour tint ie. This diamond is essentially colourless.
Vs clarity - Very small inclusions, Only a professional would be able to detect any inclusions or imperfections under magnification.
Conclusion - G/Vs quality is a step up from H/Si and they are beautiful diamonds that are rarer than H/Si and hence the price increase with this option.. If you like the finer things in life then this would be the appropriate choice for you.
